Will there be alcohol for sale at the festival?
No. The festival is held on private land and will not be providing alcohol for sale. We are operating under The Ridge's policy of "BYOB" (Bring Your Own Booze), which is outlined in the festival agreement and waiver. There is an LCBO about 10 minutes away in Orangeville.
Can I still camp at the Ridge, even if I don't have a festival pass for Queeries?
Any other weekend - yes! However, since the campground is within the festival area, you will need to have a festival pass in order to camp on site from June 7th - 9th, 2019.
What if I'm a seasonal, do I still need to buy a festival pass?
Yes, you will need to buy one of our discounted "Seasonals" passes in order to access all areas of the festival. Camping is not included in the "Seasonals" pass.
Can I volunteer with the festival?
You can apply to volunteer, however only a select number of volunteer positions are available in this, our first year. If you have not heard from one of the volunteer coordinators by Nov 30th, you are not registered to volunteer and will need to purchase a patron festival pass in order to attend.
What if I'm a performer/organizer?
Performers and Organizers are given a free pass to the festival, which includes camping if the performer chooses to stay on-site for the festival. Performers and volunteers are also able to access the free volunteer breakfasts.
Do you allow dogs/pets at The Festival?
At this time we are making the festival animal-free to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. Watch our website and social media for any updates and changes. Service animals are permitted full access to the festival with their accompanying humans.
Is this festival family friendly?
The festival is all ages, however due to some of the content/nature of the festival, bringing little ones may not be advised. Some areas will be limited to 18+.
Do you offer free, hot showers?
You bet! Unlike other camps we provide FREE hot showers in the pool building. There are also a variety of full washrooms as well as outhouse-style options.
What kind of food options will be available?
We will have a variety of food trucks on site for the duration of the weekend. Interested in having your food truck at the festival? Get in touch with us!
Do you have a store on site?
We do not have a small store at The Ridge however we are minutes away from Grand Valley and Orangeville. There will be a variety of vendors on site with some of the necessities. The Ridge offers ice and fire wood for a fee at the front office.
Do you accept credit cards and debit?
At this time we do not. The Ridge accepts cash and Interac money transfers (e-transfers) for accommodations as well as ice and fire wood. Need an ATM, click here for the nearest bank machine.
